Our Managing Director

Yan Kruger

People strategist. Problem-solver. Culture builder.

Yan is driven by the mission of making workplaces better than he found them. Since 2006, he has been helping business leaders in fixing people challenges holding them back.

Whether it’s coaching leaders, smoothing out team dynamics, or designing better workplaces, he’s been in the thick of it across Tech, Financial Services, Education, Aviation, FMCG, and Not-for-Profits.

His career has taken him from leading HR operations for a global company to guiding major people initiatives at one of Australia’s big four banks.

Outside of work, Yan is a mentor, a board member, and an active volunteer. When he’s not knee-deep in business problems, you’ll find him scuba diving with a camera in hand or chasing after his son in Sydney’s Inner West.

John Carvin

Associate Director – Sydney

Business builder. Growth strategist. Practical problem-solver.

John started out in law, working across Sydney and London, before realising he was far more interested in building businesses than fighting legal battles. He built his own company from the ground up, expanded it, and sold it. In the process, he learnt firsthand what it takes to scale a business and make it profitable.

Since then, he’s spent 20+ years working across industries including banking, healthcare, and government, guiding businesses on growth, operations, and making things run smoother. He’s also led major banking transformations.

When he’s not helping businesses, he’s helping his kids get to violin, karate, soccer, and every other activity they can squeeze into a week.

 

 

 

 

Angela Saunig

Associate Director – Sydney

Culture shaper. Leadership coach. Workplace architect.

Angela has spent over 20 years making workplaces work. She has held numerous Head of HR Business Partnering roles and led Culture & Transformation at one of Australia’s big four banks, shaped workplace culture, and even taught Organisational Behaviour at the University of Sydney.

She believes businesses do better when people are engaged, respected, and have room to grow. That’s why she works with leaders to create workplaces where people thrive to reach their full potential.

At home, she’s just as busy. With two young boys keeping her on her toes, life is a mix of parenting, work, and sneaking in a few moments with a good book whenever possible.

 

 

 

 

Patricia (Pat) Bibb

Advisor – Johannesburg

Pat’s career has taken her across South Africa, Canada, Indonesia, Australia, and Saudi Arabia, giving her a front-row seat to how leadership and workplace culture play out around the world.

She has spent 35 years working with executives and teams to help them make better decisions, manage people more effectively, and build stronger businesses. Her rich experience spans across financial services, resources, and many other industries, always bringing a practical and fit-for-purpose approach.

She’s based in Johannesburg, and when she’s not working, she’s out with her camera capturing the world, escaping into nature, or getting lost in a great book.

 

 

 

 

Susan Lawrence

Susan has spent over 20 years creating environments where people want to work and perform at their best. She has worked with leaders to improve team culture, leadership effectiveness, and business performance, always focusing on what actually works in workplaces.

She is passionate about helping leaders and teams communicate better, work smarter, and build workplaces that don’t burn people out.

When she is not working, she’s relaxing at the beach, spending time with family and friends, and balancing the chaos of her kids’ ever-growing list of activities.

 

 

 

 

Jonas Tetangco

Advisor - Manila

Jonas has spent his career connecting people, organisations, and cultures. He spent over a decade running the Australian Volunteers Program in the Philippines, helping international volunteers support local communities. Since then, he has worked on international development, leadership mentoring, and cross-cultural collaboration.

Jonas is great at bringing people together and finding practical solutions that work for all stakeholders.

On weekends, you will probably find him cycling around the outskirts of Metro Manila with his wife or training in Filipino Martial Arts (Pekiti Tirsia Kali) – a discipline he has been passionate about for years.

 

 

 

 

François Ducharme

Francois has spent nearly three decades supporting CEOs and senior executives figure out their next steps. Through his company, Cognita Talent Inc., he has worked with over 2,500 leaders across North America and Europe, guiding them through major career decisions and leadership challenges.

He is fluent in French and English and is often invited to speak about leadership, resilience, and the way people grow in their careers.

When he is not coaching executives, Francois is exploring new places, diving into history, or soaking in the rich culture of his hometown, Ottawa.
